POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES
· Work with Creative Manager and Sr. Graphic Artist to produce specific art
  projects using the media best suited to meet company’s needs and budget
  limitations.
· Perform color corrections and image manipulation, photo retouching and special
  effects to digital artwork.
· Provide production/typesetting and file preparation according to specifications.
· Halftone, line art and color art scanning.
· Utilize the most efficient design tools and processes to complete a high volume
  of projects within given deadlines.
· Prepare final digital files on various electronic media for output per individual
  assignments requirements.
· Supply service bureau with complete digital files necessary to complete
  outputting to film and printing.
· Maintain and update filing system for all in-house slides and digital photography.
· Perform other job related functions as assigned.

KNOWLEDGE AND EXPERIENCE
· Must have a minimum of 2 years experience in production/graphic design.
· 2 year Art/Technical School, or a College Degree is preferred.
· Possess complete mechanical and art capabilities in order to prepare layouts,
  mock-ups for presentation and related art primarily from graphics computer
  system.
· Thorough knowledge of color scanning and digital color prepress processes.
· Knowledge of typesetting and typographic principles, rules and procedures
  including familiarity with type styles, fonts, type specifications and copy fitting.
· Advanced knowledge of QuarkXpress, Illustrator and Photoshop.
· Ability to handle multiple tasks under immovable deadlines.
· Maintain backups of hard drives and archiving daily work.
· Must be organized with all projects including scans, documents and artwork.
